Tara has dedicated her entire career to leading global growth strategies for health and scientific technology businesses. Today she leads the IDEX Health & Science Technologies (HST) segment consisting of businesses that design and manufacture precision engineered solutions serving industry-leading customers across a diverse set of markets, including life sciences, industrial, semiconductor, food & pharma, and medical devices.
She joined IDEX in 2021 as President of IDEX Health & Science (IH&S), which enables leading life science instrument developers to solve the most demanding challenges in the optofluidic pathway, with precision technologies and application expertise.
Before IDEX, Tara served as Vice President and General Manager of the Engineered Fluid Dispensing (EFD) Division of Nordson Corporation, which manufacturers manual and automated precision dispensing systems and components used in manufacturing processes for wireless, electronics, health and science, and industrial markets.
Earlier in her career, Tara held numerous roles of increasing responsibility at Thermo Fisher Scientific for over 14 years. Her tenure there included serving as Vice President General Manager of the Ion Chromatography & Sample Prep business, and leading Strategy & Business Development for the Chromatography & Analytical Technologies Division. In addition, she held other roles in Business Leadership and Marketing to drive growth.

Tara earned a Master of Science in Professional Communication: Strategy, Marketing & Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies from Clark University. Married with two children, Tara enjoys spending time with family, including visiting family in Portugal, watching sports and practicing yoga.
