Godiva Limited, which manufactures firefighting equipment and electronics, collaborated with IDEX India to bring a new line of pumps to the Indian market earlier this year.
Modeled after the Godiva Prima series, the GoFighter pump makes priming easier for firefighters.
Priming is the process of removing air from the pump and suction line, to allow atmospheric pressure and flooding pressure to cause liquid to flow into the pump. In the past, most pumps would require external piping from the suction tube to the primer, for the pump to function properly.
With extensive feedback from end customers and OEMs, the new GoFighter pump features internal priming, reducing leaks and pump failures.
Sourced, assembled and tested in India, the GoFighter pump is 30% smaller and 8% lighter than other pump products in the Indian market.
Compact, powerful and versatile, the GoFighter vehicle mounted pump offers range of flows and is available as a single or multi pressure pump for rear mounting.
