At IDEX, we value the diverse backgrounds, ideas, and experiences, each of us brings to the workplace. We foster a company culture that embraces honesty, openness, and respect, and thrives on a growth mindset of continuous learning and improvement.
Differences are celebrated, and contributions appreciated. That sense of belonging forms powerful teams, enhances our global culture and contributes to the IDEX Difference.
The IDEX Board of Directors is regularly and intently engaged on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion as a core strategy for building the most successful company for the long term. Our core DEI strategies include:
- Reflecting on Cultural Mindsets – Supporting a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace requires us to look internally, first, and consider how our cultural mindsets may impact our interactions with and perceptions of others.
- Sponsoring Employee-Led Sodality – Through expansion of Employee Resource Groups, we aim to celebrate and support the advancement of all employees, including those historically underrepresented.
- Growing Inclusive Leaders – In the decentralized IDEX culture, local business unit leaders are crucial to setting the tone. We regularly invest in educating and supporting leaders to embrace local accountability, knowing that we are all on our own journeys of improvement.
- Investing in Diverse Local Talent – IDEX has facilities in local communities around the world. We support our teams with resources and data so they can advance outcomes that fit their local businesses and communities.
The CEO and the IDEX senior leadership team have companywide goals to advance our work in these areas. We have made progress in these critical areas because of our focused efforts across the business units and corporate teams.

IDEX continues to expand its array of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to provide connection and support for all employees. ERG activities allow diverse colleagues and allies, to share ideas, address business goals and ensure people feel connected, and that they belong.
