Hale Supports Embers of Hope Burn Camp for Second Year

In Ocala, Florida, U.S.A, Hale Products continued its support of Embers of Hope Burn Camp, a free 4-day camp for children ages 6 through 17 who have sustained a burn injury. The camp’s mission is to empower children to embrace their burns, foster a sense of community among peers, and promote joy through fun experiences. The camp creates a meaningful experience, focusing survivors on building confidence, courage, and pride.

More than 45 Hale volunteers packed backpacks with supplies for the week, set up the camp, prepared activity areas, and organized shared spaces to welcome 22 campers and their families.

The highlight of the week was a visit to Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida, where campers interacted with marine animals. Other activities included face painting, fishing, and swimming. Throughout the week, campers also had access to support groups, friendship-building exercises, and workshops on self-esteem and body image.

Through their compassion and generosity, Hale employees helped create lasting memories for campers and their families. Their support reflects Hale’s continued commitment to the fire and safety community: showing up when it matters most and helping build a safer, more caring world.
