Iridian Spectral Technologies Volunteers Come Together for Annual Spring Neighborhood Cleanup

Employees from Iridian Spectral Technologies, part of IDEX Material Sciences Solutions, ditched the office to join their city’s annual spring cleanup which continuously gathers a group of volunteers committed to keeping their local environment clean, safe, and welcoming.

Located in Ottawa, Canada, the green space around Iridian is a habitat for a variety of nature, including the ever-present flock of wild turkeys. Iridian team members dedicated their time to collecting litter to restore the local green space along the residential walking pathways in their area.

“Lots of us take a walk at lunch for fresh air and exercise. It’s a lot nicer if the path is well taken care of,” said Training Officer. “This cleanup is a chance for us to leave something better than we found it."

The event has become a valued tradition—one that reflects Iridian’s belief that environmental responsibility starts locally and is strengthened through collective action.
