IDEX corporate employees from the Northbrook and downtown Chicago offices, competed against each other to purchase gifts online for local Illinois children who have experienced trauma.
The ”Kids Above All” Virtual Holiday Drive included a friendly competition, with IDEX corporate team members split into teams to see which group could donate the most gifts. The solution for holding the toy drive, created because in-person donations were not possible during the pandemic, was hugely successful.
In just three weeks, about 150 corporate team members came together to donate more than 800 gifts, which were delivered straight from retailers to Kids Above All for distribution.
“On behalf of the 2,488 kids and families in our programs, we are amazed by and truly grateful for the generosity of everyone at IDEX,” said Kids Above All Director of Marketing and Communications Andrew Dohan. “Your partnership and support ensure they experience the joy and happiness of the season and makes their holiday wishes come true.”
