Tap In: The IDEX Month of Giving Begins

As part of the IDEX Foundation’s Month of Giving, business units across IDEX are bringing the Foundation’s elevated focus on Leadership & Education to life in ways that reflect the needs of their local communities.
Let’s take a look at what our teams have accomplished so far:
Stuff the Pack with KZValve
KZValve hosted a “Stuff the Pack” event in partnership with Heartland Hope Mission in Omaha, Nebraska, U.S.A, and People’s City Mission in Lincoln, Nebraska, U.S.A—two nonprofit partners the team has supported for nearly four years.
During the two-hour event, employees worked in teams to pack supplies quickly and accurately, adding friendly competition to the service project. Winning team members selected prizes from the KZValve Swag Bag!
The business, known for its high value agricultural components, later hosted an ice cream appreciation event to thank employees for their participation.
Gast’s School Supply Spectacular
At their facility in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Gast employees participated in a community-wide school supply packing event hosted by the United Way of Southwest Michigan.
To make it easier for employees across shifts to participate, Gast held the event in two sessions, including one designed specifically for second-shift machinists.
In total, 30 employees from the Air Compressors & Pneumatics Systems business sorted and assembled school supply kits, prepared materials for distribution, and organized backpacks by age group for 850 local students.
Banjo Donates Snacks, School Supplies, and Hygiene Products
For the Month of Giving, Banjo employees in Crawfordsville, Indiana packed 300 hygiene, snack, and school supply bags for children, benefiting Boys & Girls Club of Montgomery County and the Youth Service Bureau. The business, a leading liquid handling manufacturer, has had long-standing partnerships with both community organizations. The packing event made it possible for employees across three shifts to take part.
