Allison brings 25 years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience to her role as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, which she has held since 2021. She leads IDEX’s global accounting function and serves as primary accounting liaison to executive leadership and the Audit Committee.
She has extensive experience leading public company accounting and reporting functions, and throughout her career, Allison has been passionate about developing leaders and building high-performing teams. She is recognized for fostering transparent, collaborative environments that challenge the status quo, encourage continuous learning, and drive sustainable improvement. Her leadership philosophy centers on empowering others, creating organizational capability, and strengthening finance functions to support long-term growth and scalability.
Prior to joining IDEX in 2021, Allison spent a decade at SunCoke Energy, where she progressed through a series of leadership roles, including Vice President, Controller, FP&A, Treasurer, and Interim Chief Financial Officer. During her tenure, she played a key role in the company’s initial public offerings, debt and equity transactions, organizational redesigns, acquisition integrations, and large-scale systems implementations. Earlier in her career, she spent nine years with KPMG’s audit practice, serving large public and private multinational organizations across a variety of industries.
Allison is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an Executive MBA, a Master of Accountancy, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. She is also actively involved in her local community and serves on the Audit, Compliance & Risk Management Committee of Catholic Charities of Chicago. Married with three children, Allison loves reading, traveling and experiencing different cultures and foods.
